How are the Popular cafe rankings calculated for each city?

 The Popular Cafe rankings for each city is calculated by ordering all cafes in the city by the following calculated value:  

• Number of reviews + number of drinks + number of photos 

After this ordering the following selection criteria are applied:  

• A cafe must be approved, open and not marked as closed 
• A cafe must have been added to Beanhunter more than three months ago 
• A cafe's score must be greater than or equal to 7.0 
• A cafe must have at least one photo 
• A cafe must have more than the cities required number of credible reviews. 

A cities' minimum credible review requirement is based on the total number of reviews for that city, and is calculated differently to the same value used for the Top Cafes rankings.
